Sorry have not been in contact,have been busy with the restoration of this
80 foot WW2 Australian army hospital launch, my job. Now with the xmas break
will have a chance to talk more.
Will be in the united states from Jan 12 to Feb 10 (Florida) and if there
are any "Paddleducks" in that neck of the woods would like to catch up.
Am intending to start building a 40 foot sidewheeler about mid year so would
appreciate any information. Plan to power it by diesel and use hydraulics
for the drive, figure that I could stick the diesel in a quiet place on
board so that we can enjoy the "chush chush chush" of the paddles as we
steam up the rivers and bays and enjoy cutting across the shallows as the
deep draft "plastic fantastics" stick to the channels.
Have enclosed file with photos of a little boat i used to own down on the
Murray River.
