Hi and Hello. Plans for a Graupner Glasgow build.

With a history of a couple of Billings Boats which took a long time to build I recently bought a Graupner Glasgow paddle steamer. It was lurking hidden in a second hand furniture shop unwanted and cheap. The huge box contained as well as I believe all the plastic and wooden sheets , a steam boiler and other accessory packs.
Rather than launch into the build I found this forum and thought a bit of sound advice and plan of action was needed to stop what I think appears to be quite a fine project  being wasted.
Also the plans are all in German, which may be why it was not built.
Therefore any initial advice or direction to other builds would be much appreciated.
