As I frantically type, my first attempt at a paddle tug and only my second build ever is being cut by my friendly laser cutter minion who has agreed that as long as I do the spade work he will happily press the buttons ,my tug will be based on the paddle tug Aid ,using the drawings from another steam tug I have cut 2 forward ends to the middle and elongated the midships I have also elongated the deck and keel and done a modification to the bow to allow for the rudder at each end ,that's the theory once it comes off the cutter the proof as they say will be in the pudding once I start construction I will post some photographic evidence of either success or abject failure ,the smell of laser burning wood is already in the air .
