Hello from Austria
« on: September 24, 2012, 10:54:18 PM »
Hello everybody, would just like to introduce myself. I am Terry, an Englishman living near Vienna, Austria. I am a retired Mechanical Design Engineer. I have been a semi pro drummer all of my adult life, have not retired from that!!
I have been a model builder on and off since childhood, have tried everything, but settled on boats as being the most rewarding to build, and the most relaxing to sail. At the moment I am thinking way ahead, that is why I have joined Paddleducks. Currently I am waiting for an Aerokits Sea Commander kit to arrive from the UK, this is my next project. I am already planning to build a Paddle boat, so am here to gain as much info as I can get well in advance.

Cheers, Terry.

Hi Lord Nelson

Welcome to Paddleducks. :08

" But settled on boats as being the most rewarding to build, and the most relaxing to sail". Also if you do have a mishap easy to carry home for repair, unlike model aeroplanes, scooped up into a plastic bag. :16

Very best of luck keep paddling.  :beer
