North Sea Oil
« on: February 20, 2012, 09:48:15 PM »
A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil  shortage here in Britain .
~~~
Well, there's a very simple answer.
~~~

Nobody bothered to check the oil.
~~~
We just didn't know we were getting low.
~~~

The reason for that is purely geographical.
~~~
Our OIL is located in The North Sea
~~~

All Our DIPSTICKS are located in  Westminster !!!

Any Questions ???
NO? I didn't think so!!

Your Lucky you only have one set of dipsticks, we have two sets one in Ottawa and one in Toronto.

A bit sharp Eddy, but so right, apt description of the powers to be for sure, more intent to fill the pockets of the few than protect the many, quick profit for the few again, long term misery for the tax payer. Same story north sea gas, nowhere to store it, having sold off the storage tanks to developers, so sell it to Europe cheap, they in turn sell it back at sky high prices, good returns for the few again. Doesn’t take much working out where we are going under present regime, Utopia for the few, poverty for the many :evil

Its even worse look how many there are in the Eu parliament. I notice that in the news today one is being ivestigated for expenses. This is likely the tip of the iceburg. Look at our honest? Mps. John.
