Hello

My name is Harry Stone I am from Adelaide in South Australia ,and  new to  this forum.

I thought I would post these old plans here in the hope that they may be of some interest to some members.
If you have trouble reading the text , I can email some larger files to you.

Thank you for this great Forum!

Welcome to the forum Harry. An interesting looking boat. What's the history of the plan, was it built in full size?

Thank you for the welcome Barry.

These old plans appear in the book

It`s fast becoming a collector`s item , and prices for this ( 1973 ) edition range from $ US 53.00 - $ US 244.00.
I do not own a copy , and do not know if a boat has been built to these plans.

Speaking of books , some members here may also be interested in this one , it is on my "to get "list. :

It can be found http://www.lulu.com/content/1948578

I think the boat pictured has potential as a lower cost project , at least the hull construction.
I think a boat around 30 ft length like this may still be affordable .
There seems to be considerable scope for individual customized floor  plan and layout.

I have only just begun to research paddle wheelers and would like to find out more , particularly drive train configuration using tractor / truck differentials and gearing.
I have not found much information on this so far.

Thank you again for your interest.

Liba Liba house boats in Renmark South Australia started with a tractor powered houseboat details at the link. Later boats had a single stern wheel.
