First of all i would like to say hi to all the paddlesteamerlovers out there.
unfortunately i'm new to the subject of paddlesteamers but that can be helped i think.
I mostly do rc planes (models before the 1930's).
although i always liked the sternwheelers ,it never came to modelling one :-[.
until a month ago , i came upon the mantua model on the kapaza site
it was already build (altough so xtremly bad ) ,and the price was just right (70€) to push me over to my first steamer adventure.
so , bit by bit i'm taking it apart ( a hard job becaus this guy was in love with glue i think  >:()
i have no problems with the re building whatsoever but i wil ask you people a lot of questions regarding the motor and the paddlewheel transmission( it wil be a electro with a smokegenerator  sound module and the lots )(crew and passengers i wil get from lemax (if they are not to xmaslike that is )
if i made mistakes in my english i'm sorry , dutch is my native language)
enjoy the building and paddle on
                                                     Lode

ps any comments and or questions always welcome
if i haven't done it i'll try it
and maybe it will work

Welcome to Paddleducks.... As Derek has already said, I'm sure we can help with answers to any questions you may have.

Your English is fine, certainly a LOT better than my Dutch!! ;)

Regards
Eddy
