New from the old colony

Hello folks,
I'm newly interested in R/C, and especially (I think) paddles. I live in the Portland, Oregon area, and have been involved with static period ship modeling. I got here from Model Ship World, through the recommendation of Stuart Badger, who appears to be on line right now (Hi buddy!). I'm hoping to start a scratch build soon, that is as soon as I finish th 1/96 US Constitution I'm working on now. I look forward to picking your brains (figuratively) when I get inevitably stuck.
