Anyone looking for a new paddler project?

Anyone looking for a new paddler project?

Hint....... Take a look at Talismans website www.clydemodelboats.co.uk and check out his new semi kit.

And before anyone asks, no, I'm not on commission! :)

It's at 1:48 scale Neil - I'm sure Kim will respond with the models dimensions tomorrow....

marchioness of Lorne was 199 feet between verticals - 206 feet LOA, so that gives a model lngth of about 50 inches at 1/48th scale.

all the best

It does look good, I hadn't seen this website before!
Slightly off topic but I may as well ask about it here...............
I just tried to order 2 packs of 10BA nuts (5 to a pack) but couldn't, on closer look, there's no price on the list beside that item...error or are they out of stock? (it says 'in stock' )

Mick, I have sorted the problem cheers for pointing it out.

Neil, the Marchioness is as said 1:48 scale and the hull is 1.3m or 51inch LOA.

Eddy, a big thanks for starting this thread it really is appreciated.

Hope that helps, anything else just ask.

Regards,
Kim

Well - I've decided to be optimistic and order a Marchioness of Lorne - so how about a multiple build log?! If all goes well we could have a Marchioness of Lorne sail off at a paddler day!

all the best

Well i urmed and arred for a bit and took up Kim's limited offer so there may well be a build off Stuart.  though i am convinced you would win as i build rather slower than your good self.
