I thought I'd introduce myself for those of you that don't know me...
I run this website, together with the other Admins and Moderators. Paddleducks was originally setup by Paul Jordan (PJ) in Canada using one of the Yahoo groups which worked well for over 4 years - We did have constant problems with space for files and photos, so eventually four of us decided that we'd fund this website between us. The four people involved were myself, Paul Jordan, Walter Snowdon, and David Allison. Towboat Joe Brown from the USA joined as one of the team a couple of months later.
My interests include anything that's "out of the ordinary" - I rarely build kits, but prefer to choose models that aren't generally seen, tending to concentrate on two main areas - Paddlers, and World Water Speed Record boats such as Donald Campbells Bluebird and John Cobbs Crusader. Lets face it, you can't get much more extreme than that can you? :-)
So if your new to paddlers, or even new to modelling in general, I think you'll find a wealth of information and help right here on Paddleducks. We're here to help, so never be afraid to ask a question - Always remember, the only dumb question is the one you DIDN'T ask!
