hello from rainy Fleetwood
« on: August 10, 2009, 07:50:10 PM »
hi, joined many moons ago but never got round to posting.
Not because I am unsociable, but purely because I don't have the knowledge of you guys about paddlers, and have never built one( as yet) but plan to at some stage.
My forte' is classic and modern lifeboats at 1:12 scale, with some fishing vessels and the odd tug boat.
I do enjoy paddlers though, and spend 2 - 3 weeks a year up on the Clyde coast, holidaying, where I see the classic Waverley, virtually daily, and have spent many an hour on her cruising the Clyde.
I hope that you will be kind to me should I ever get round to building a model of such a vessell, and in the mean time, thanks for allowing me to join in.
neil.

Welcome to Paddleducks Neil....

Don't worry about knowing little about modelling paddlers, the whole point of the group is to help people just like yourself, everyone has to start somewhere and we don't bite, honest! :hehe

Feel free to browse the material we have on the forum, in the photo gallery, and in our Downloads..... Then come back with any questions you may have, we'll always do our best to help...

Regards
Eddy from rainy Thornaby (Near Middlesbrough)
