Software upgrade!

We need to upgrade the software for the portal we use - That is the software that ties everything together on the website... Apart from replacing hundreds of files, it also involves an upgrade to the database which stores all the site information (user accounts, messages, etc etc).

This upgrade will take place tomorrow (saturday 27th Feb 2009) from approx 9am GMT - Whilst we are upgrading, the website will be unavailable, and you will not be able to login. Hopefully this should only take an hour or so... Famous last words! ;)

Why not have an emergency glass  of refreshment :beer with you Eddy ....just in case  :breakcomp........................................ ;D

Alternatively ...I could post over a few slices of OZ toast + Veg ...& a cup of Twinnnnnnnnnnings English Breakfast Tea....to keep you company just waiting for the system to reboot...........Derek...:nahnah ......

I did once attempt a website upgrade after a couple of cans of the amber nectar..... Never again!! It wasn't one of my best decisions! :(

A few cups of tea tomorrow morning so I'm wide awake and sober, and then I'll crack on....
