Greetings from new member

Hi All, I have just reached 61 years old and I am retired now, and I thought I try to do some model engines, something I always wanted to do but not had the time before.
I have a small workshop with a good lath and a Small milling machine ready to go, now all I need is some good beginner plans and lots of advice, which I thank from advance for any help.
