Sternwheel engine test run
« on: May 29, 2008, 06:09:56 AM »
A friend of mine, Chris Barnbrook of Darlington & District MBC, is currently building a steam powered sternwheeler, the King of the River.

He brought the model down to the club today to show the engine running on compressed air - And very impressive it was too! Although it isn't run in yet, so it's a little bit lumpy, it still performed well.

Chris hopes to have the model completed for our paddler day in September.... You can see a short video of the engine running in our Downloads section at: http://www.paddleducks.co.uk/index.php?ind=downloads&op=entry_view&iden=757

Regards
Eddy
