Eddie - are these emoticons unique to this form of media? - I found I could export them to an Excell spread sheet, but naturally the text descriptions were exported not the images - are they able to be exported to any other image format? - I would love to use some of them in my daily e-mail communications with certain work colleagues - Derek   :rant

Hi "Decoy" Derek!!!

These look like little .gif's and when I tried right clicking/copy on one I was able to paste it into an outgoing Outlook Express email.

Hi PJ & Eddie - I have saved the emoticon image set in a seperate folder in Outlook Express, can go that folder & right click & copy an emoticon image, then open a new e-mail document & paste or embed the same image & send the e-mail

The sent or out going e-mail when viewed has the life like moving  embedded image but the receipents e-mail just has a RED X box embedded - any ideas as this will drive me to  :sob - yes that's it - to tears & if that dosn't work I may even  smash the PC like this - so I have been   & hope you have some  :news  for me - Derek

When your writing your email, look at the toolbar at the top of the message window Derek - Click on "Insert", and then select "Picture" - Choose the emoticon you want by browsing and use the "Baseline" Layout...

They work on a similar principle to the old 'what-the-butler-saw' machine (or a film projector for that matter...) if you have a graphics program that works with .gif images (or can convert to them) and a .gif animator or animationshop, you can make your own. Just make up some pictures, all slightly different and use the animator to show the pics one after another in the same frame (angelfire.com had/has a gif animator you could use online)
