While waiting for a bus outside a hobby store on year ten camp I peared into the dimly lit store window, and beyond the brightly coloured kites I saw a stand of model boats. Large boxes and small boxes lined the shelf...and there on the top shelf a bright blue box with a large picture of a paddler on it!
And thats how I found a kit model that I had no time to fidn out more about because our bus came! hope you enjoyed my story! lol

hehehehe I see someone enjoyed my story! what a reaction, what brilliance! My life is complete!
No the model looked good and I wish I could have gone in and bought it for myself but because I was on camp and about to catch a bus the teacher may not have liked it.

Rivetting story, Sean, I look forward to the next gripping instalment.
BTW, any progress to report on that large scale paddler you're working on?

Well I thought I had a hull, but it turns out I don’t. So as soon as I can buy myself one then I will start work on fitting it out with wheels, a nice little deck cover or something! The guy down the road had 4 yachts he was selling but mum wouldn’t let me buy one L oh well. So after I go hull shopping I will tell you…currently I have a girlfriend burning a hole in my pocket!

Sean - as an older PD member I do assure that the fairer sex [females] do end up burning great holes in our bank accounts & as time goes on, after divorce or death, new girlfriends still end up trying to chew the $ in the same way :hmmm - I am not being cinical, just look at Rupert Murdoch !! - Derek
