casspir's intro.

Hello PD's,
Having reached that point in life where I can now afford some mini-machinery (and all the associated bits'n'pieces) and have some time to devote to my hobbies (dropped down to a 12 hour working day) I finally have the opportunity to build a paddler (something of a childhood dream).
My previous modelling experience slots into the plastic fraternity, working to an acceptable level that I had the pleasure of creating several master patterns for some quality resin-kit manufacturer's. Hopefully I'll be able to apply the same levels of skill to my forthcoming projects.
Having no experience with "things nautical", well not quite true as I've build a couple of 36" AC yachts and am currently working on a 1 metre VOR yacht for a friend, but it does apply concerning "powered" vessels. I'll no doubt be popping in with some rather basic questions so please bare with me.

Hope everyones projects are steaming in the right direction and the glue's sticking in the right places.

Regards
Roger.
