Speedometers
« on: April 04, 2007, 03:07:09 AM »
Hi PDs,
Here in Canada the Speedometers have two readings Kilometers/hour on the outside and Miles/hour inside. How are they marked in other Countrys? Just wondering.
Regards,
Gerald

Hi, I am in the UK, and my old Rover Metro has MPH on the outside and KPH on the inside.   Has your paddler got a speedometer?   Oldie

Hi PDs,
I was just curious, our Speed Signs are posted in Kilometers/ hour ie 40km/h, and we were in traffic behind a USA vehicle which would drastically change speed ( from 40 to 20 or from 30 to 60) every time it past a posted speed sign(40km/h)? We were trying to rationalize the vehicles behavior without making redneck jokes.
Regards,
Gerald

Probably loads of speed cameras where he lived, and  he was being ultra-cautious
