We have a few model shows coming up in England over the next month or so... So if anyone fancies a trip out, here's the details:
Northwich Model Boat trade show - April 16th and 17th. The Memorial Hall, Northwich, Chesire. A replacement for the Ellesmere Port trade show because of building work that is being carried out there. As far as I know there won't be any sailing or club stands, purely traders selling there products.
Harrogate Model Engineering Show - May 5th-7th inclusive. The Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, North Yorkshire HG2 8PW. A superb show which features everything from model boats, model aircraft, engineering, trade stands for everything you can imagine and some you cannot imagine - Well worth a trip.
Windermere Steamboat Museum model boat show - May 13th and 14th. Rayrigg Road, Windermere, Cumbria LA23 1BN. A small show but still worth a visit. Normally about half a dozen traders attend, and many models will be on display as well as sailing on Windermere and in the small pond directly outside the museum. You also have the delight of getting up close to the full sized Windermere steamers that are housed inside the museum.
