Hi Eddy - I found a rather nice photo today of 2 Clyde paddlers racing flat out which would have made a nice follow up to your "racing paddler" thread. Inspired by John's photo of "Glen Sannox" I thought I would share it with the group. Doesn't work for me & FAQ says I can't.  How's it done?

Regards

David

It depends on where the photos are David - If you have them stored on your computer you can upload them, if they are on another website you need to add a link to them - Some sites DON'T allow remote links so that method isn't always succesful....

Let me know which one you want to use and I'll talk you through how to do it...

Sorry to bother you Eddy - I didn't think it worthwhile loading it to the photo gallery as its a bit O/T and not a very good quality copy- although I would like to have been there when it was taken.

Anyway,  I  can handle the photo gallery OK - but it won't take the photo as its in 'bmp' format, so not to worry.

You wouldn't believe I have 35 years IT experience would you? But I've never worked with PC's, thank goodness.

Regards

David,
If you email the photo to me I can try and clean it up a little and convert it to a jpeg

Sorry David, BMP images are disabled simply because they take up huge amounts of room - Typically they are 10-20 times the size of the same image in JPG format.

I see Joe has already offered to help in converting it for you, or I can do it if needed....  It only takes a minute or so, so if you want it converted just yell.
