Anton Quartz Specification - as I can now Understand it
« on: October 22, 2005, 01:36:39 AM »
Hi PD’s – being of humble convict stock I did not have the privilege of training in the French language @ school so must use computer generated translation skills

Please take the time to look at the French ANTO’N [translation] specification for [their/his/her/its] text on the 2CC Quartz horizontal engine attachment

Quite interesting – ANTO’N recommends for the 2CC a 6>8:1 speed reduction, can push 5>10 Kg, 100>150 wheel diameter & an OP of 1.5>3 Bar – this is the only manufacturer that nominates or suggests some ball park units

[TEN points to ANTON for these comments]

If you go to our PD’s links, you will see that ANTON also note a single servo facility for both steam input [speed] & direction control [rotation] over the steam input

This control system sounds so simple – but the engine whilst of certain quality with ball bearings in the crankshaft, etc looks a little modular in design - Derek
