Hi Gary,
as you're aware I've been interested in your Quarterwheeler Jean and
I have a couple of questions for you:
Firstly, your model has a tow cable cabin with what appears to be a
funnel on top - however the aft tow cable looks as if it is coming
out of the top of this 'funnel'. can you tell us a little more about
the towing operations and the role of the tow cable cabin.
Secondly, you have four main rudders ahead and four monkey rudders
aft of the split paddles. In one email you mention Captain Cash
getting used to the two paddle throttle controls and the two rudder
controls. Looking at your photos am I right in thinking you have the
monkey rudders controlled by a separate steering servo (and Rx
channel) to the main rudders? If so then can you tell us a little
more about how you use these separate steering controls and what
benefits separating them has given you?
Many thanks
Tony
