Fantastic, Gary!

Thank you for taking the time to create an album for your excellent
model paddler "Jean". The photos of the wheel(s) are amazing and I
particularly like photo #3 showing the underside of the stern with
the wheels and the monkey rudders. What a set-up!

I'm fascinated by the "ladder chain drives" to the wheels and from
where you got parts? Is this noisy and how have you managed to
prevent water from getting in through the chain drive tunnel and do
the chains themselves bring any water in?

The rudder control also looks to be a flexible aircraft-type control
cable which is a great idea!

All in all this is a superb piece of work, Gary, and you are to be
heartily congratulated.

For those who havn't yet seen Gary's model you can find her in the
photo section under "Quarter-wheeler Jean".

Very best regards

The parts are from Stock Drive Products.
2101 Jericho Turnpike,

When I got mine they had 3 catalogs. They have inch and metric.
The chains don't make any noise I can hear. Water is no problem
because the wheels don't throw water around only turning at 45rpm
max. The tunnels are above the water and the boat is super stable
so water just doesn't get in them.

It solved a few logistics problems
