Hi Derek, - you've asked for clarification re proportional speed control and my Puffer.

Wld be happy to post a few pictures - if I had some decent shots to post
(and if PDers don't object to an alien in the ranks - steel screw
lighters sure are hard to disguise as paddlers). I posted one to the
site this morning. In the folder "Clyde Puffer - Hercules" there's a
shot of the foredeck with companionway to crew's quarters (the doors are
hinged and open up for the air intake for the fan)

A bit of background explanation. One of our club members is a very
highly regarded modeller in New Zealand - Les Bryant. When I first
joined our club I overheard Les 'advising' another modeller: "Rust!
Rust! You can't have enough rust!"...
