New member - Congo sternwheeler question

Hello,

I have had a long, but minor, interest in riverboats and steamboats
for quite awhile. I am not a proper paddlewheel modeler but a
tabletop wargamer. Mostly I am looking for ideas and pictures so I
can make small boats for my wargames.

Specifically I'd like to build a Congo riverboat similar to that
mentioned in Conrad's "Heart of Darkness". He describes a
steamboat "exactly liked a decked scow. On the deck, there were two
little teakwood houses, with doors and windows. The boiler was in the
for-end and the machinery in the stern. Over the whole was a light
roof, supported on stanchions. The funnel projected through that roof
and in front of the funnel a small cabin built of light planks served
for the pilot house." Later he mentions that it was a sternwheeler.

I have found only a couple of pictures of ANY boats similar to the
one described. Are any of you gentlemen aware of an S Scale (1/64)
model such as this? Or any good photos or books that might show one?
