You love Africa or you hate it; - sometimes both at the same time.
In over 35 years I travelled to most countries in Africa and also lived and worked in some. (Ghana, Nigeria,
Mali, Libya, South Africa, Zambia and Malawi.) I am currently preparing for Tanzania for the next 3 years.
Old and new ships on lakes / rivers were also one of my great passions. I was also lucky enough to sail on the
big African lakes: Lake Victoria (MV Victoria), Lake Tanganyika (MV Liemba) Nyasa / Lake Malawi (MV Ilala II).
Over the years I also searched for remaining parts in English and German internet forums, and on site:

It's always give and take. Therefore, I hope to give you tips as well as to be able to ask questions to specialists.
