Don't you love it when a plan comes together....
Last sunday my partner was out at work and I was planning a peaceful evening watching the F1 Grand Prix.... But....
I laid down on the sofa and promptly had a heart attack! I rang the ambulance and they arrived in 10 minutes, did some checks and then it was off to James Cook university hospital (about 50 miles , 80km away), within an hour of arriving there I was in the catheter lab having a blood clot removed and a stent fitted.
So 2 days later and I was back home... Now it's a question of a few weeks to recouperate, and then hopefully back to work. I've got so many damned tablets to take that I rattle!!
Anyway, the good news is that I survived - They say only the good die young! ;)
Regards
Eddy

I certainly Hope you have a quick recovery Eddie.
-
My gosh Eddie, you do try to give us all heart attacks! Glad you had a quick assessment and are on the road to recovery. Keep taking the tablets and don't jump up and down so much then you won't rattle ;)

Be rest assured Eddy, with each year passing, the number of prescription medication doses increases.....did you know, that every individual Stent has an individual serial number?.......[your a numbered Man now]
Best wishes for a total recovery....and if they say take it easy for 2 weeks, then obey the directive

Get well soon Eddy. Know the feeling about the pills but needs must unfortunately.
-
I am very sorry to hear that Eddie and I wish you a speedy recovery.
Like someone else has mentioned one can be taking a lot of tablets!
However it goes to show that the NHS is effective at some things.
-
Yes. Get well soon Eddy. Take it easy for a bit.
Mike.

Seems like my get-well-soon message I posted a few days ago has disapperared or was lost in the upload.
Anyway, better late than never receive my best wishes for a quick recovery.
Good to hear that you knew what to do and the swift response of the ambulance.
Regards Jurgen
BTW: if you can get a re-run of the race watch it. The last lapes were epic.

My sincere thanks for everyones good wishes.... The first week I was wiped out totally, absolutely no energy at all. But things are slowly getting back to normal.
If everything goes to plan I'll be back at work from tuesday next week.
Regards
Eddy
