Thanks to the Admins for adding me!

I'm just getting back into radio control ship modeling after a 20 year gap.  Lots to developments to catch up on.

I'd always been interested in modeling a sidewheeler.  But, kit selection was pretty poor 20-30 years ago, and I felt I lacked the time and expertise to hand make my own with the techniques and materials in use back then.  With the recent advances in 3D printing and laser cutting technology however, I think that fabricating my own drive trains would be a whole lot easier.  Who knows, maybe I can get something finished and on the water before another 20 years goes by!
