Ive just acquired this model, in a bit of a state,  has nice brass feathering paddles though. Would anyone know what vessel it might be ?

Looks like the Maid of the Loch.

Agree but the most significant differences to me are the shape of the funnel and the proportions of the paddle box sponsons to hull length. Is it possibly a semi scale model built without reference to plans or perhaps freelance loosely based on the Maid? The only other that comes to mind is the Caledonia but the windows are certainly wrong and again the funnel is way off.

Thats what Im thinking but, it has very sophisticated paddles for a "semi scale "
