Hi all

My name is Derek and like the rest of you I love Paddle boats.

I built a model a number of years ago that sailed well but sadly have no images.

I still have the hull and am now going to attempt to semiscale replicate a Sidewheel Ferry that used to ply the waters between Grimsby and Gainsborough in the County of Lincolnshire. Please see attached jpg

I have one photograph that I can work from.

The model is started and I will try to keep you all updated on the progress.

Welcome to PD's Derek..... yes, please tell us more about your intended paddler Ferry build with photographs as you progress

We are a smallish WEB group, but you will find here the greatest gathering of experienced model Paddler builders with an immense knowledge on the subject...and usually always happy to offer constructive comment & assistance

This is an interesting image.......the above deck trunking on the stdb side & the cylindrical device on the Foredeck........could this be a WWII requestioned vintage?
