A firm ive never heard of before-DISAR- have issued a static wooden kit of an early river Tyne paddle tug, the Vanguard, The illustration on the net look good and at 1/50th scale, 28inches long and 12.6 inches over paddle boxes makes it a good size as a working model. Anyone seen this kit in the "flesh"?. Its listed on amazon and cornwall model boats at about £160 pounds. Regards, walter

Walter,
I realise this is an old post and you may have seen this youtube clip. It looks like the model can be working, but I couldn't find any further information.
