Thanks for that Alistar - in our links I recently looked at Paddle Wheelers
of Australia > Murrindi site and found a tabled listing of old paddelers and
yes Decoy was there as (based at Mannum), so e-mailed the contact listing
for the site (a Mr Frank Tucker) who came back with the answers

Yes she has modified topsides (looks nothing like her previous self) and
still used as home to a Mr Dick Bromhead at Bromhead's Marina Mannum -
posted a letter to Dick last week and hope to get to see her externals later
this year

As I had mentioned to Frank Tucker I am a little concerned that I may have
used TOO much draughtsman's licence with her hull - however too late for
changes now

Alistair - may I ask, how did you find out re Decoys fate or current
status? - regards Derek

I had seen details of her history some years ago and contacted somebody in
Australia, I forget who. I received some photographs of her as she is now. I
think at the time I was working on a listing of all surviving paddle
steamers worldwide.
I think the best place to try for plans is Glasgow University Archives. Ask
where the Lobnitz archives are kept, they may be there, the Scottish Record
Office, or in the Mitchell Library. The University Archives have an website,
but I forget the address.
