Hello, I'm Ole. In Norway we have an old side paddle wheeler named Skibladner wich still is doing the same route as when it started back in august 1856.  Many of you may know about it. I have been building a model of Skibladner for some time now. One more year and it will be finnished. The model is in scale 1:32 and is a steam driven RC model. With no model building experiance it has been a challenge.

Thank you. Well, you're right, I'm not a new member. Just a not so very active member. Thought I ought to properly introduce myself.
I started on my Skibladner project in 2005. Things take time. I have only time to work on the project in the wintertime. And for several years, when not to know how to move on in the building process, it gathered dust in the basement. I pulled myself together and worked hard on the project last winter. I nearly finnished it!
On the test driving on the pond, I discovered that my methylated spirit Saito burner was
unreliable. In fear of burning up the hole thing, I'm now rebuilding the old boiler to run on a gas burner. I am going to lodd up some pictures as soon as I find out how to deminish a Picture to less than 500kb. Is it possible to encrease this limit? The Paddleduck website could do with some better pictures to encrease the interest on the subject?
Ole :)

Hi Ole
640 x 480 pixles is the maximum size we allow as bigger sizes use too much server space therefore this  is one of our rules at 640 x 480 a good representation of ship, model or engine is portrayed,
Thank you.
Damien.
