Title: Rail Paddle and Plate
Post by: Barry on September 13, 2015, 09:46:17 PM
My wife and I had a very good day out yesterday.
We went to Ballarat on a restored Diesel Electric Rail Motor built in the 1930's.
On the way up we where given cups of tea and savouries. On the way back more cups of tea with cakes and chocolates.
When we got to Ballarat we were taken by bus to the Lake Wendouree where we boarded the Begonia Princess.
On board we had a nice dinner as the sun set. A trip well worth doing if you have the chance.

It hasn't been well publicised, but it's they're first go of this trip. They're doing more trips. Second Saturday of the month. Details are on the DERMPAV website where you can make online bookings.
