In 2005 there was an article by Ron Isted in Model Engineer on modelling PS Dartmouth Castle using this engine.  He refers to two articles in Model Engineer:

ME 2975, (1958/5/29) where a boiler is described by W. Melville specifically for the Westbury Engine.  If this is the same boiler that is still available from the plans service "Scotch Return Boiler M22" http://www.myhobbystore.co.uk/product/17408/scotch-return-boiler-m22 (http://www.myhobbystore.co.uk/product/17408/scotch-return-boiler-m22) (and I think it must be, as it is the only boiler design of his that I can find in the Model Engineer index http://www.groundlevel.demon.co.uk/me_index.html (http://www.groundlevel.demon.co.uk/me_index.html) ) the drum appears to be 6" x 6".

ME3527 (1975/12/19) where D. G. Gooden began a series of four articles on marine steam plants, beginning with a similar boiler with a drum of 3" x 3", but it is suggested in the Dartmouth Castle that this could be scaled up to 4 3/8".

Hope this helps

Brian
