Hi there
I am returning to the hobby after a few years and would.love to build a paddle steamer. I am not totally new to building but i am not quite comfortable building from scratch.
I have been.looking around but my search for kits has.come.up blank.
I was wondering if any of you knew what was currently going.
I was looking at a graupner glasgow but they seem to have gone under.
Any info is most appreciated

Welcome on board. There are still a few kits out there, mamoli still makes the L'orenoque (1847), there is a canadian co. that has a kit, and there was a thread on here mentioning some others. Search term + kits.

Hi great eastern.
Thanks for the info. I have had a look at the kit you mentioned but it looks a little outside my skills at momentioned but I love the look so maybe one for another time. :D
After looking around this site I have seen mention of Clyde model boats. I have had a wee look and see they do semi kits for a couple of paddlers. Does anyone know anything in regards to the hulls/kits?
I.e quality of hull details etc.
