Title: SWPS/SWPV Adventurous (Echuca, Australia)
Post by: Roderick Smith on March 27, 2015, 06:19:05 PM
This Echuca paddlesteamer has been out of the water for a few years, while new owners have made substantial improvements and modifications.
It was returned to the water on Fri.20.3.15, and is now in the wet dock.  The steam engine has been retained, but is not linked to the wheels.  I don't know if it can be steamed.  Propulsion is now by diesel.  The cabin appears to have been extended.  In turn, I wondered if the hull has been extended.  Apparently not so: it seems that the boiler has been moved forwards to provide the space.
This selection covers earlier views, as a paddlesteamer, in 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007.

Now for the recent quintet, from Michael.  All were taken on relaunching day, Fri.20.3.15, between the town ramp and the onion patch, then into the wet dock (now with water).
