I'm a semi-retired engineer with a current project of launching the Indian Princess on Webster Lake. The real name is Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. The vessel was built in La Crosse, WI in 2000 and is OAL of approximately 75 feet without the boarding ramp. Each paddle is driven by a 75 HP diesel engine using a hydraulic drive.
Originally the vessel traveled via river to a lake in TN. In 2012 it was purchased by Indian Ranch in Webster, MA and transported via river to FT. Myers, FL. In 2013 it traversed FL via canal to the Atlantic and traveled up the East Coast to Barrington, RI. Go to
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWMEwx66oss to see it arrive in CT.
In 2014 it was transported via truck from RI, through CT and onto Webster, MA. Today it sits 150 feet from the Lake waiting for final state regulatory approval to launch. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52zwu8iDeSo
There are a few more videos on youtube. Will update you on more developments.
I'm also building a model of the boat.
Thanks

Hi Caz
Welcomt to the PD`s forum
Interesting ship, with a fascinating story behind it! Do you have also more plans/drawings from the princess?
