Hello from Calgary
New member here, relatively new to machining and also relatively new to model steam engine building. I found the site chasing info on Edgar T. Westbury's diagonal paddle engine . Great looking site and looks like lots of very interesting people here too.
I'm quickly approaching retirement ,having a workshop built in the basement and will be moving the machines down soon.Have several Stuart casting kits on hand ready to build[butcher?]. Assembling materials to build a copper boiler electrically heated. Helps to have a  couple of friends who are certified boiler welders to look over my shoulder and guide me on that one. I will be sending a lot of questions out to whomever might have an opinion so feel free to set me on the right path if you see me wandering out in the wilderness. Any help gratefully[sp?] accepted.
