Title: Graupner monopile g1750 question
Post by: Dan Sirman on October 28, 2013, 09:14:28 AM
Hello all. I am building a Graupner Glasgow model kit and I am putting a graupner monopile g1750 motor and gearbox into it. The Glasgow instructions say to do steps 4 & 6 only on the gearbox. My problem is that all the instructions that came with the motor are in German. Does anyone have the English instructions for the monopile g1750 or if you are familiar with it and can help me out with what to do for steps 4&6?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dan

Hi Dan,

it is quiet easy to work with this kind og gear.

First screw the backwall of the gear (look's like a little bowl) to the driveshaft side of the motor. Then place the little red hexagon part on to the driveshaft now place the inner wheel on the hexagon, it works only one way round you can't make it wrong. Now place one frame on top of the bowl and then the second inner wheel and finaly the head with it's three metal fingers in to the top inner wheel. Finally bolt it together with screws of 3mm and suitable nuts.

I hop my description is ok for you, if not send me an PM with your e-Mail so i can send you one or two photos.

Regards Hans.
