Title: Feathering paddle wheels

Hello all i am in need of a set of feathering rimmed paddle wheels of 120mm diameter and 4mm shaft size for my lorna doone as the ones i have are heavy and have been fixed any help please.......?

Hi All,
Many thanks for the recommendation Ian & welcome Lornadoone2.

Yes, we will have 120mm Dia Rimmed wheels available shortly (about two weeks from now) but ... they will be 7 Float rimmed feathering wheels .. might be better for keeping the boxes from chocking but might be out of scale ... did Lorna doone not have eight floats?

I had the same trouble made a set from brass far to heavy, but managed to sale them. Them made a set from aluminium, which was easier than brass. If you look at my build Duke of Devonshire, you can see how. No special tools required. Page 4 is the start. Geoff
