I've been interested in paddle boats for many years, and boats in general, from the real thing, which I find too expensive, to models, which also aren't cheap.
I've recently purchased a Dumas Myrtle Corey for my first project.
I must admit that at the moment I want to read about how all of you managed to build and complete your various projecxts.
When my model is complete I shall post some photos, if the model is presentable.
Thank you all for the input you have put into this website.
I hope to be a contributor soon.

Welcome to Paddleducks and good luck with your build of the Myrtle Corey.
You will find some very knowledgeable and helpfull people on the site, so i am sure you will be able to get any advice needed. I would recommend a build log as its one of the best ways to show your progress and ask any specific questions if needed. Also we like to admire all work and enjoy looking at the boats evolve. well at least i do :D

Hi there and welcome to PD's
Only a few months back I was in a similar position to you but now, well progressed into my second paddler, I am a lot more confident although not of the highest skill level!
I look forward to seeing your postings of WIP on the boat. I know from exchanges with Eddy Matthews that blow-by-blow build logs are very welcome...So...please post pictures of your build.
