I spotted this paddler on our local lake yesterday, believed to be a Director class paddle tug...does that sound about right?

Apart from electrical hiccups, it sailed beautifully, and looked very nice on the water.

No mate......not a director class.......I think it's a Graupner Glasgow kit..........I've always fancied one of those.

I'd say it's a glasgow also, director class looks like this - http://www.kingstonmouldings.com/pddirectorpaddle.htm

I know it's not a Glasgow, as I did ask the owner about it. He tells me it's scratch built, but does have Glasgow paddles, but he didn't know exactly what it was, hence the Director guess.
Thanks gents, for the help...

Hi All,
I Have had a good look through all my books.. probably best book was the steam tugsa buy Phil thomas.
Making th assumption that there is two parts to the name at the top of the (bullwark at the bow),
the Paddle box vents and the funnel colours there is no match to be found.
Could you supply the name of the boat as most of the details on the picture do point towards her being a glasgow kit or an adaption of.
Regards,
Kim

Sorry for the delay in replying guys, but would you believe the owner of the paddler in question hasn't been down to the lake recently? A case of Mr Murphy applying his law, maybe?
