Hello all, I am a new member that just joined the Paddleducks and am looking forward to future discussions on the Forum. I am a model maker/builder and my current build is a model of a 1806 Gunboat designed by Christian Bergh. I am a Member of the SMA and was active in the recent WSMC&E in Newport Beach CA. I am also a NRG Member and enjoy research as will as building. I am currently reading the book "Clydebuilt" by Eric J. Graham. I want to build a 1/48 scale model of a Side paddle wheeler used as a blockade runner during the American Civil War. I am currently looking for Plans availability and the history before I decide what ship I will construct.
Any suggestions or direction would be most welcome
I live in Southern California and have access to 4 Maritime Museums, my favorite being the Ventura County Maritime Museum
