Rich...great shot of the "W.H.B" (where is the model in the picture
from?) Are you building from plans YOU drew or managed to obtain,
cause I ran across some yesterday.
W. H. Bancroft
Steam sternwheel freight boat, built 1912. Used on the Ohio, Kanawaha
and Mississippi Rivers. 1/4" Scale. 7 Sheets
Model Size: 33 1/2" Long, 5 1/2" Wide Price: $19.00
I believe these are Ryant drawings through Modeler's Boatyard
http://www.modelersboatyard.com/jfryant/riverboats.htm
Taubmann also appears to have plans
W. H. Bancroft
Scale: 1/4 in.
Description: Alaskan Sternwheeler, circa 1912. Worked on the Copper
River in the fish trade.
Length Overall 33 inches. 7 sheets.
Category: River Boats
Price: $15.00
Looks like they could be the same plans, cept the Taubmann ones are 4
bux cheaper!!
What type of engine/drive are you planning for the boat?..so someone
can talk to you about it.
regards
PJ
