Which radio control steam regulator valve would anyone recommend?
I can only find 2 types, one is supplied by Mainsteam Models, the other I have found is supplied by Polly model engineering.
Is one any better than the other, I'm hoping to use one to control the speed of my Graham TVR1A.
Any recommendations or suggestions of any other suppliers would be gratefully received.
Regards to all.

I use the one from Polly to control my Graham VR1A single cylinder and it works perfectly. I have also supplied a couple to customers to go with TVR1A engines I sold and have had no complaints. If the one from Mainsteam you refer to is a rectangular brass block type then I have also tried one of those controlling two single cylinder PM Research oscillators linked together. It did the job but was more of a forward/reverse control than a proper throttle as it was a bit on/off and needed very fine movements to vary speed. Hope this helps, Ian.

Cheers for that, thats just what I needed to know, I'll be ordering the one from Pollly as I wanted the fine control you mentioned.
