Have just purchased JEANIE DEANS HULL.Any members built one or in the process of doing so

I don't know of anyone else building a Jeanie Deans based on the Clyde Model Boats hull Dubree, but there are few members that are building other paddlers based on their hulls.
Scotfriend is building a Jeanie Deans, but he's made his own hull.....

Hi All,
There are a few of my Jeanie Deans Hulls out there and I'm really glad to see one appear here.
My own personal Jeanie has not progressed much beyond installing the sponsons and wheels.
The beauty of being a manufacturer is you can produce your favourite looking ships. The down side is your left with little time to build them ... if that makes sense. So to see one come to life is a great reward!
I would be delighted to see your build in words and pictures on this site ... who knows i might just learn a thing or two which might benefit future builders.
Thank you & the stage is yours ....
Regards,
Kim

Hi Eddy,
if you say i am building a Jeanie Deans, unfortunately this is only half the truth ::) about 11years a go i have started one based on the MM plans but as more photos of her i found i realised there is something different. I stopped the first build and started a second one based on the shipyard drawings, the hull is all ready done since October 2003 (what a shame ) since then i had different projects like my van who kept me away from her. I hope to start the real build somewhen in 2011, but please don't ask when it will be finished.
regards Hans
