TYNEMOUTH LAKE

After 3 bad years of weed, we are at last getting some action. A contractor is removing estimated 2,000 of silt and also going to install an ultra sonic system to kill the spores.
It has to be dredged as the council won't allow it to be drained;  again estimated cost from Northumbria Water to refill is £17,000.
I challenge anyone to say that they have had bigger boats on their boating lake! (Thats if I can download the photos!)
