Hi,
Visiting my mum today she handed me a bunch photographs and a zip lock packet containing six postcards by Nicolson of Largs - 'Clyde Steamer Series 1'.
I scanned them in (not too good a scanner unfortunately) and here they are.
Caledonia approaching Largs, 8th June, 1963.
-
Jeanie Deans approaching Dunoon, 17th August, 1963
-
Talisman leaving Largs, 21st July, 1966.
-
Dushess of Fife at Millport, August, 1952
-
And a couple of turbine ships:-
Saint Columba near Rothesay, August, 1952
Duchess of Hamilton leaving Keppel Pier, 26th July, 1965

Hello Sandy. Last time I was on Maid Of The Loch they still had mint sets of these pictures on sale (two years ago). I have nearly two thousand post cards of paddlers in my collection, but how does one start digitising that many!. Regards, Walter
