Title: Wooden gratings
Post by: djcf on October 23, 2010, 12:26:44 AM
Hi PDs

The wooden gratings, common on paddlebox landing platforms, bridge wings etc....was wondering does anyone have an idea the size of the square holes? I guess about 2 inches square? Not looking for an exact size, just so I am on the right ballpark :D

Wish I'd had a look at them on the Waverley this summer!

Hi Clark,

I measured the landing platform once, the holes were about 40/41mm or 1 9/16'' or 1 5/8'' and the wood between the holes was about the same size.
